'The room was comfortable enough if somewhat dated and tired. The shower was a bath with a shower attachment. The towels were very old frayed, and clean but in poor condition.'

'Zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw die gezellig een praatje komt maken als je dat op prijs stelt en voor je klaar staat. Prima eenvoudig en meer dan voldoende ontbijt. De B&B zit in een oud victoriaans gebouw, badkamer kan een opknapbeurt gebruiken (voorbereiding daarvan leek al in gang gezet). Daarom iets lagere score op netheid en staat van accommodatie. Op loopafstand vind je de ferry naar Portsmouth met een oude haven en nieuwe shoppingoutlet en boulevard met arcades, kermis en meer vermaak.'

'Dit hotel heb ik (reisagent) geboekt als 5 sterren accomodatie. Het blijkt een 5 sterrenkeuken/restaurant te zijn met kamers. De hotelkamers doen ze er een beetje bij, als restaurantgasten willen blijven slapen, na hun diner. Er is ook geen aparte receptie, maar meteen bij de ingang een desk waar de restaurantgasten zich melden. Buitenkant en omgeving van hotel stelt erg teleur, verouderd, wordt nu wel geschilderd. We kregen een kamer met uitzicht op de afzuigingsbuizen van de keuken, veel...

'Was attending a conference at the Farnborough Conference center and this was a quick 5 minute walk from there (through a shortcut). Room was spacious and had everything I needed. Breakfast is freshly cooked and comes with quite a few choices.'

'I was, of course, disappointed not to have en suite facilities but I booked late and knew the situation. My room was small but exceptionally well equipped and comfortable. The staff could not have been more accommodating and made me feel very comfortable.'

'Well heating in my room did not work. The room was a bit chilly late at night. And the water was not hot enough. It would be nice to have a few more plugs in the room for charger and laptop. I only saw 2 one for the light and 1 for the kettle'

'The accomodation was very nice and very comfortable. I was only staying for one night. The owner could not of been more thoughtful. She recommended some nice pubs for an evening meal which were fine. My only problem was that there was no television and the WiFi was intermittent so I was at a bit of a loss how to keep occupied. '

'We found this on Expedia, it was ideally located for our needs, close to Stonehenge, Salisbury and within easy access from Heathrow, the property was clean, well equipped and our host, Diane, had gone the extra mile on every aspect of what we might need. The food was excellent. I really could not find fault in anything about our stay at the Annexe. This is a super place to stay, in fact an 11 out of 10. Great value and a host that knows how to make you feel special. I would stay again next time...

'Great welcome from Martin on arrival and he cooked and served an excellent breakfast the following morning. My room was comfortable, clean and had everything I needed, but there is a noisy pump to give sufficient water pressure for all the showers, which annoyed me and woke me up - however you do get a very powerful shower!'
