« Very basic hotel, check in was very limited with no info on hotel dining or other facilities. Not shown to the room and found no hand soap in bathroom. There was shower gel and shampoo. The room overlooked outside drinking and smoking area and could smell smoke if window open. All furniture was old and some pieces had been mended. Floor boards loose in some places. Admittedly the building is old and has character, but TLC required. »

« Great location - walking distance to town centre for shops and restaurants and cafes - short drive to beach. Had a takeaway from the Thai restaurant - very good Accommodation was very comfortable and hosts very friendly. Breakfast was put out for us to help ourselves in the pottery shop each morning and was a good start to the day with fresh fruit and croissants. Reliable WiFi we were able to watch Wimbledon with no problems. All in all a delightful stay and would definitely stay again. »
