'Do not even think about booking this accommodation. It’s not habitable. The photos are true to likeness. I have reported this host to the company. It would not pass any regulatory standards. Needs to be removed! Awaiting my refund, as walked in and walked straight back at !!'

'Stayed at Darwin House and the experience was pretty poor. The room I originally booked was already being used by another guest, with her belongings everywhere, so I was moved to Room 1. The phone number provided for help wasn't even in service at the time. The property itself is filthy - the room was just about liveable for one night, but I didn't feel comfortable sleeping in the sheets. 'Booked on the day and confirmation came through. On arrival at the property I hadn’t received the access code. After several phone calls and a chat with a Virtual Assistant. It transpired that the room was occupied. Expedia when contacted apologised and said It would be resolved in the next 72 hours.Thiis is of no help when you need a room at the time VERY DISAPPOINTING. 'I paid £26 for the night, and felt like I overpaid. Advertisement pictures are false. Maybe that room looked like this, once. Not any more. Stains on the walls, stank of cigarettes. 'Owner was super nice and very accommodating with our change of schedule (due to train issues). Place was clean. No A/C (that we were aware of), which we opened the window. Unfortunately, it was a Friday night and the people outside were a bit loud for awhile (not the owner’s fault). The only downside was we found out we were only renting a room when we arrived, not the apartment itself. Great location and close to the cruise terminals.'

There was no staff in sight as at 07:30pm, I couldn't not access the property for an hour because the code was not correct, police came to make arrest from the property. A guest that came to get delivery then gave me a number to ring inside the house I was about leaving before someone rang me and sent me the code after one hour of standing outside. The room had no window, no fan, no hand-wash in the toilet I didn't find the bathroom easily either the...

'Horrendous. Oven was so dirty it couldn't be used. Room has one mug, one towel, one pillow - two of us staying. Dirty sponges left at the sink, clearly used multiple times. Bed was horrific, worst mattress I've ever slept on, very old, bed falling apart, not even a full size double. Husband and I are very average in size I had to try and sleep either end of the bed - didn't help due to the noise of other residents all night. Fridge not cleaned, food still in there from last person.Young men...
