'We enjoyed our stay. The hut is well equipped and had the weather been warmer we could have benifitted from the outside space. We felt they needed to think about slightly better storage and the couch/ bunk beds were probably six inches too high for comfort. The fold away table was also poor although it served a purpose. The hut had a slightly tired feel and would benefit from some upgrading - television for example.'

'We stayed at the hut for four nights and found it beautifully designed, and to our surprise quite spacious compared to huts we've stayed in before. There is plenty of space for two people to sit around and relax and a very adequate kitchen (we only used the microwave, but there is a double hob and cooking utensils provided). The bed is 'cabin style' and very comfortable, with some storage space at one end which is quite convenient so your bits and bobs don't fill up the dining/kitchen area. The...

'We had a wonderful Christmas in the charming Shepherds hut whilst visiting family near by. We brought our slow cooker with us and managed to make make a Christmas dinner in the well equipped kitchen. Toasting marshmallows on Christmas Eve was a highlight!'

'Enjoyed our couple of days here, was a great base for visiting nearby family. Quiet and remote but within a 5 minute drive of facilities. Cabin very comfortable and well equipped, spacious bedroom with large en-suite shower room and with added bonus of comfy double futon in lounge. 'We had a wonderful time at the Deerleap Lodge. The cabin was very comfortable, well equipped and clean. The hosts Neil and Lorna were very friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for visiting the National Motor Museum in Beaulieu and the beaches. All in all, we had a lovely time.'

'The Lodge was in a delightful, quiet position beside a stream and overlooking trees and a large open space. Inside was well designed to accommodate two adults and two young children. We had everything we needed to enjoy our holiday and it was all spotless. Outside on the veranda was comfy chairs, a table and four chairs and a large gas bbq. Great for outdoor dining. There were delightful walks through woodland on site and the beach was only a short walk away. Everything for a perfect holiday.'
