'I really loved staying at this property. It felt like home away from home. It was very peaceful, staff were super friendly and caring and breakfast and dinner was good. One thing that will stick with me was the treatment I received. Staff always checked if I had a pleasant stay and how my day was going or if I needed anything. The overall experience for me was a 9.5 out of ten (There's always room for improvement).'

I traveled solo and had some work to get done during my stay, so I wanted a small and quiet hotel and One South Place was perfect for what I wanted to do during my visit to Belize. 'Wow, Michelle is amazing! Incredible property which is very inviting. Great food & drinks too. Gill is the master at making drinks! Michelle took the time to show me around the city and recommended places to eat, etc. Bed was super comfortable. I will be coming by again. '

'The three families (including 4 kids ages 3-12) in our group had a wonderful time at Playa del Sol! We enjoyed the quiet location and clean, comfortable accomodations! Iz and the PDS family took great care of us, including snorkeling and fishing trips, and delicious food and drink! We hope to return!'

'Main problem was ongoing construction of two new cottages only a few feet from the single existing cottage. Savy lodge owners care about client comfort and do not rent when renovating. Lighting along boardwalk poor and I tripped over a fresh 3 ft tall gravel mound ( construction) walking to our car in the dark. The manager did not show us the cottage upon our arrival as all other 13 places we stayed in Belize did.'

'Paid over $600 US for three people, decided to leave San Pedro earlier than planned due to harassment by hawkers, emailed Amelias explaining would not be checking in, told no problem, go to hotel in person before arrival date for full refund. Went two days before, was told by owners wife there was no record of my booking, no record of my payment or my name, the rooms were already re-rented, and to discuss it with her husband, who was out of country and unavailable.'
