'Wir haben dieses Haus hauptsächlich wegen der Lage ausgesucht und wurden nicht enttäuscht: Der freie Ausblick auf den Atlantik ist einfach nur traumhaft! Besonders abends, wenn die Sonne untergeht, lohnt es sich am Haus zu sein und einfach nur zu genießen. Das Haus selber ist urgemütlich. Am besten gefallen hat uns der Seitenerker, in dem man schön sitzen kann und dass jedes Zimmer ein eigenes Bad hat. Das ist purer Luxus, wenn man mit mehreren Personen reist. Um das Haus herum ist viel Platz...

'My family of six stayed here after st. Patrick’s Day. It’s the perfect location to see the cliffs of Moher. The view from the cottage itself is absolutely stunning. The cottage is beautiful outside and inside with new floors and furnishings. It’s extremely comfortable and cozy. I would definitely recommend staying here.'

'Easily the worst overnight stay I have encountered anywhere in my travels. We had no working water heater the first 24 hours so none of us could shower. The floors were sticky. We killed two sizeable spiders in the unit. The whole place smelled like chemicals but I couldn’t quite place what they were. 'We loved everything about the Sea Mist cottage. The location was unbeatable (4-5 minutes from downtown Doolin), unbelievable views (over looking the great Atlantic) and the layout of the house was superb. The main living space was separated from the bedrooms which was awesome for a large group (minimize noise for people sleeping). The bedrooms were incredibly comfy and bathrooms spacious. The entire property was newly renovated and appointed with very nice materials/fixtures. Highly recommend.'

In the refrigerator, we were gifted local smoked salmon, Irish cheese, Irish crackers, fresh eggs, milk and juice. There were real wool throw blankets curled up next to the over stocked fireplace. 'Stunning views from this beautiful updated home overlooking the fields of green, farms with sheep and cattle, the Burren and the Atlantic. Short drive into Doolin for dinner/lunch…both delicious, Russels and McDermotts Pub..recommended! Heading in to property from Lisdoonvarna on the very narrow…essentially single car road..I thought..oh my what have I done..we are truly isolated here, however once we arrived we were relieved to find that Doolin is only an EASY 4 mile drive away. Fortunately...

'It was a wonderful place to stay! It was just what we needed with access along the coast. It came stocked with tea and coffee and supplies to cook with. We loved it! So charming!'

'The kitchen was ill-equipped- no cheese grater- and the furniture had strips of veneer hanging off which needed to be glued back on. The beds were hard, and none of the strip lights above the basins worked, making shaving difficult. The quality of the fixtures and fittings was poor. However it was a pleasant enough cottage apart from the niggles.'
