« My husband, son, daughter in law, niece and her husband had a 3 day fishing trip planned nearby. I suggested this place rather than a hotel so the family would be more comfortable and be able to visit during non-fishing time (something separate hotel rooms just doesn't accommodate). The house was absolutely PERFECT for their trip. Bonita was very communicative (giving very detailed directions as well) and was kind enough to give them an extended check out time when I messed up the reservation...

« Preston and Judy are such a joy. Meeting them was just a added bonus. The farm house was everything they described. It was warm and welcoming and very comfortable. It reminded me of my parents home. The town is so Quant and friendly. You must vist the D Day memorial. We also hiked the otter peeks. Thans again for sharing your home. »

« This place was perfect for our family needs. We were all there a week before a Wedding and we had plenty of bed space and room to enjoy our stay and not be overcrowded. Our host was very helpful with any questions or concerns we may have had. Although it sits back off the road a bit, which we all enjoyed, it is very close to anything you are needing such as groceries, shopping, restaurants etc...We had a great week! »

« This was our second stay here - this time in spring, so enjoyed trees leafing out, Purple Violets, Virginia bluebells and other wildflowers along the river - while it was snowing at home. »

« Good location with plenty of room for 5 of us. The massive kitchen, gazebo, and fire pit were a hit. Plenty of room for trucks/trailers. Bring 2 padlocks to secure your bikes in garage. Will stay here again. »

« PERFECT stay for a large family! 14 were in town for our brothers wedding in Round Hill. 2 full kitchen spaces with living room. A bathroom for every room plus powder room downstairs! I'm jealous of those staying during pool season! It was glorious! »

« Huge house with tons of character. Lots of space for our group. Movies, games and activities everywhere. Huge kitchen with everything we needed to cook Thanksgiving dinner. I had no idea 2 ovens would be so helpful. »

« The host was great and very accommodating. The animals were great to see, especially for pur 1 year old granddaughter. We will definitely be back and might bring more family next time. Depending on the time of year it is, if you're really looking forward to the swimming pool i would probably ask ahead of time if it will be ready to go into at the time of your stay. »

« Our entire family loved this place so much. We were greeted by a sweet orange cat and he went on a long walk later towards the woods after we visited with all the friendly farm animals. We saw horses, goats, steers, alpacas and a large tortoise. It brought me back to my childhood growing up on our family farm in Wisconsin. The views are incredible at any place you look. We sat on the porch and watched the sunset and then went to the back and started a fire on the very nice patio with a grand...

« We really enjoyed staying at this cozy, renovated1700's kitchen house! It had perfect spaces for our 2 teenaged boys to spread out upstairs, beautiful views and places to walk, and was excellent for running between Woodberry and Charlottesville. The friendly dogs and fresh eggs were an added bonus for us. »
