'It is Hydra, and there are some steps to be climbed to get to it either on foot or by donkey, but our kind host Theodora has a gem of a property at which to stay close to town. It is very neat and clean, with a little inner courtyard for eating dinner and visiting with friends, and a roof top area that can be climbed via a narrow stair case with great views of the surrounding neighborhood and Hydra Town. 'Rooftop patio was wonderful. There was a large umbrella for shade, very spaceous. The rooms were comfortable and clean. Lots of basics in the kitchen for cooking. hosts left lots of water! So appreciated! The neighborhood was so much fun!! Lots going on. The downstairs bedroom was more noisy, so light sleepers should go upstairs where you could not hear street noise at all. Very convenient location. I would stay there again in a minute!!'

'It is everything listed! The only issue may be how steep the stairs are, but this is not unusual on Hydra or in Greece for that matter. Things are built upward, not outward so there are usually steep stairs at hotels and even restaurants. I only mention it if you have older or weaker members, they may not be able to use the upstairs. My wife and I had no problems though and we're well over 50! Rania is very easy to work with and attentive! Definitely a great place to stay!'

'This was such a great place to stay. About 50 yard walk to the sandy beach and the town with shops and restaurants is maybe another 100 yds. Great view and pool was really nice. It doesn't call it out, but it does share the pool with the house to the right as you face the pool. Wasn't a problem as the people were super nice and we really didn't have any overlap issues.'

'The apartment which occupies both the third and fourth levels was very spacious and wonderfully positioned for visiting all the main archaeological sites as well as the vibrant restaurant and shopping areas. It was also very novel in that the lift up to the apartment on both the third and fourth floors opened directly in the apartment rather than the staircase. "Wij hebben een heel fijn verblijf gehad in het Athens Tower hotel. De ligging van het hotel is perfect; bij een metro; een leuk plein met restaurantjes, supermarktje, uitzicht op de Akropolis. De kamer was groot en mooi. Wel basic; goede kast en het douche scherm was te klein waardoor de badkamer nat werd. Je hoorde het verkeer en het gefeest duidelijk in de hotel kamer; vooral in de avond. Maar we hebben toch prima geslapen; je bent niet voor niets midden in de stad. Het ontbijt was prima maar basic. Wel pas vanaf 7.30, terwijl wij een paar keer voor 7.30 weg wilden. Je kunt ook een broodje kopen in een van de winkeltjes onder het hotel. Wij hebben een prima verblijf gehad!"
