'One of the coolest places we’ve ever stayed! The property and house were absolutely perfect for a relaxed family get together. Highlights included game nights, chatting on the enclosed porch, morning coffee on the back deck and a sunset bocce game…so many memories. Agree with everything written in all previous reviews, but would add that my favorite parts were the bonafide gorgeous pollinator garden and the abundance of delightful art throughout the house and property! 'Stayed here with friends for the Fourth of July weekend. Super relaxing, we loved seeing all the animals run around! There is not much to do in the immediate area but it was a relaxing jumping off point for the rest of our trip. '

'Great stay. No major issues. Clean and private location. Host was very accommodating and helpful. Forrest was great!Had all that we needed! Pizza place in town was great!3rd bedroom is not quite what we expected (description correct, but pic wasn’t shown on site) but we made it work with no real issue. Pleasant stayTip during hot summer days: we put the portable fans next to the upstairs AC vents which seemed to help cool down the bedrooms better. '

'The StoneHouse was perfect for our adult family of 8 and a baby! It was charming, clean and well equipped! Thw Market was a BIG hit with us all and the couple that ran it were amazing! So welcoming and accommodating! We were in town for a celebration of life so ot was great for our family to have this peaceful place to retreat to. We would definitely stay here again!!!'

'We loved the property so much. We came back a second time! Great place to stay if you want comfort and privacy and many places to explore on and off the property. Our kids loved playing in the creek catching crawfish, campfires in the evenings roasting marshmallows by the creek makes for great family memories. We will definitely be back again!'

'This secluded farmhouse nestled in the valley below Shenandoah National Park was the perfect spot for a last minute getaway.Our dogs loved the expansive yard and we loved sitting on the back porch to take in the sights and sounds of the National Park.The house is 15 minutes from Luray in one direction and the Thornton Gap Entrance to the National Park in the other.The house itself is as stunning as it looks in the pictures and the hosts were very communicative. We hope to make it back soon!'

'We had a wonderful stay at this property. The home was spotless, well equipped, and exactly as described in the listing. The location was perfect… Peaceful and serene. We especially loved the outdoor space which had a kitchen and a pool. We had eight grandchildren with us that said it was the best vacation yet. Randy the host was responsive and made check in easy. "This is a reasonable hotel in terms of price/quality ratio. The location is almost at the end of the boardwalk but the Virginia Beach shuttle stops right outside. The staff is very friendly and helpful, there were some things that were not right, when we arrived the indoor pool was not open, both washing machines were out of order (there were 4 brand new dryers in operation) and the sliding door to the balcony in our room we could only open by using a lot of force. We had a balcony with sea view on a high floor and the view was fantastic."
