'This is a wonderful property! We left the heat of the valley to just stay a week in the cooler weather. The weather didn’t disappoint, but the cabin was everything we hoped for. I worked from the cabin all week with absolutely no issues with internet. The kitchen had everything we needed to eat and cook. The fire pit in the backyard had skewers for s'mores and there were fire starters in the kitchen to get things going. The beds were large and plenty comfortable at night. The tv had plenty...

5. Beautiful Wooded Dream Cabin Backs Forest

Flagstaff

'What started as a dream family vacation quickly turned into a nightmare when a nearby wildfire exploded in size just days after we checked in. As neighboring communities received frantic evacuation orders, thick smoke choked the air, and ash literally began raining from the sky. Fearing for my family's health and safety, I made the heartbreaking but necessary decision to cut our vacation short. Their safety and comfort was my priority. I reached out to the property owner, I expected basic human...

'First, let me say the space was nice, it worked for our needs, and it was not terrible. What the pictures don't show is that this house is in a neighborhood with homes all around it, and pretty close at that. Lots of windows, which was nice for sunlight, but looking right into your neighbor's house, not so great. The house could be amazing, but it's quite run-down and needs some serious upkeep. The master shower has ZERO water pressure. Which was so disappointing, as it was a nice master shower....

'This A-frame cabin was clean and the kitchen had almost everything we needed. We had to buy a mug from the nearby Dollar General since there were only 3 mugs available. There is an air conditioner in the front room, and even in June we were not uncomfortably hot. Both the downstairs bedroom and upstairs were a bit cramped... the nature of a true A-frame. More than 4 adults would be crowded. Both bathrooms were more than adequate with plenty of hot water. The backyard had comfortable seating and...
