'Hotel has a nice communal area with a wood fire, games, coffee, etc. The room was clean but very small, in particular the bathroom. We were there on a Friday and there was quite a bit of noise from people coming to an going to bars in the neighbourhood.'

'I am 75 years old and felt welcome and at ease here. I had a private ensuite room and enjoyed the advantages of continental breakfast provided and a kitchen to make supper. The staff are great.'

'We verbleven hier een weekend in een privé kamer en hadden 2 vreselijke nachten met 3 uur slaap. Tot 3 uur is er ontzettend veel lawaai van de pub rechtover het hostel en vanaf 6u rijdt de veegwagen een paar keer zeer luid door de straat. Er zijn gratis oordopjes ter beschikking, Maar die bieden helaas geen soelaas.'

'Budget accommodation without the manky factor, on lovely campus. Helpful staff. Bed not so comfortable, but everything clean and fresh. Shower a problem - impossible to adjust or aim, stinging pressure but mostly missed your body and soaked your hair. In all, enjoyed our stay, and felt it was good value. '

'The stay itself would have been ok, even though the price was kind of high in comparison for what we got, but every evening there were drunk teenagers partying and making a lot of noice through the night. Nobody of the staff really seemed to care about this. This really disturbed the rest and sleep needed when exploring the region. Might be the cheapest in town, but I recommend spending a bit more to have a comfortable stay.'
