'The Oceanfront patio view and access to the beach was great.
The kitchenette lodging was terrible, it consisted of a dilapidated sofa impossible to sit on and relax to watch the TV.
The throw carpet/rug was dingy and filthy. The bed was not structurally supportive and came out from the wall, leaving absolutely no no room for walking and mingling safely without watching to ensure you don't trip or stub your toes/chins. Around

'Host was very quick to respond to any questions. It was very clean and just enough space for a two people. It’s located in a quiet area but close to everything so it was very convenient. Will be back!!'

'Rooms are very clean and offer maid services daily. Check in was easy and room access was smooth.Simple close parking. The beach is nice and private however you do have to pay to sit on the beach which I don’t believe is mentioned on the listing. Chairs are about $40-45 per day which can be pricy on top of cost of stay. Personal chairs or towels are not allowed on their beach so you don’t have much of a choice unless you want to drive to public beach. Wish this was communicated prior to arriving...

'The room was overall good order and clean. 5 Star is reserved for properties that go above and beyond with details and exceed expectations. This property was great with regards to cleanliness, but not 5 star. Minor details, small spots here and there and other fine details that can be overlooked but keeps it from a 5 star rating'

'We hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad in A Beach Retreat! We verbleven in een van de knusse huisjes aan de bayside. Even de rustige weg oversteken en we stonden op het prachtige strand van Casey Key. De kamer was perfect, schoon en had alle voorzieningen. Inclusief kitchenette, erg handig! De badkamer sprong in het oog, heeft een nette upgrade gehad. Genoten van dit verblijf en hier komen we zeker terug. '

'So welcoming. We flew in early (got to the Waterscape around noon) and even though check in time was 4pm they allowed us to leave our bags at the front desk area and gave us our wristbands so that we could enjoy the amenities while we waited. We loved staying there. Kids said they had the best time.'
