'古いなりにも　清潔感がありました。 下がコンビニなので、買い物もできて、バイクで訪問させてもらったのだけど、ひさしの下に置かせてもらえたのがたすかりました。 朝ごはんも　美味しかったです。'

'All staff were different every time. But they were all nice. Bonus is you can enjoy your trip here after hours and have your meals and your drinks inside. Be respectful and all is good. Can even smoke outside building but put butts into the Seymour lamp'

'We stayed in a prong room with a small terrace which was great to look over the street and people watch. Very quiet and relaxed hotel. The room was perfectly clean and presented. Such a lovely check in from staff who helped so much with our lack of Japanese. The private bath was great. Excellent location, only across the road for a couple of onsen. Map and guidance on yukata given. Would definitely stay again.'

'This is an amazing Ryokan. Close enough to the main attractions but a bit away from the modern parts of the city. It faces the Sai River and has trees, green spaces and walks around it. The rooms are spacious with Tatami mats. We took a suite and while the rooms had a Japanese feel it had western amenities. The breakfast was very good a the staff was helpful. The rooms had a full length balcony from where I sketched the town across the river.'

'perfect for a couple nights while snowboarding at the ski hills nearby! the lovely lady, who i’m assuming is the owner, was just the sweetest lady. she was more than happy to help us sort out transportation around town and to the ski hill, make dinner reservations for us, and drive us to the shipping outlet to ship our bags to the airport. i would absolutely recommend, and i will definitely be back! '
