'The staff was exceptional. Check in was pleasant and professional. The staff assisted us with any part of out stay we needed. They ordered a taxi for our early morning trip to the bamboo forest, directed us to the near by shrines we had wanted to see, brought coffee pack to our room so we didn't have to wait. '

'This was a wonderful stay in west Kyoto, near the river and all that comes with that proximity. The grounds were lovely and the facilty was equally nice. We did not take advantage of the meals since there were so many other options in the community within easy walking distance.'

In de gedeelde keuken kun je alles gebruiken. De Ryokan is typisch Japans en een leuke belevenis. Prima service. Prachtige tuin. Restaurant in het hoofdgebouw. Bushalte en supermarkt op loopafstand. Met de bus 20 minuten naar Kyoto Station.'

'We loved the staff and hospitality at Momijiya. My husband said it felt like we were staying at our grandma's house. We loved the ryokan experience as well. We really felt we were getting a more intimate Japanese experience. The food really put us Americans out of our comfort zone, but we wouldn't have wanted it any other way. Our rooms were quaint with nice view, and the comforters on our futons were incredible comfortable. Like sleeping inside a warm cloud. This is a great spot to feel...
