'Hôtel absolument incroyable'

'My family of 3 stayed two nights at Hinodeya and it was a wonderful experience all around! This was our first visit to the Izu-Penninsula and we had such a great time. The owner and staff were so kind and accommodating, truly good spirits in this generational owned ryokan. The baths were very relaxing, the entire place was very clean and good spirits all around. If you’re looking for a family run experience vs. a corporate hotel, I highly suggest staying. Also, their massage chair is...

'We really enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and cheerful. The shuttle service to and from Ito station was very convenient. The room was spacious and well kept. We opted in for the half board option as well. While the portions were great, the overall quality isn't as high as other ryokans we've stayed at in the past. The in-room onsen was lovely and felt very private in the garden setting. You can hear the train go by periodically, but that's expected given how central the location is...

'スタッフの対応は一生懸命さが伝わり大変好感が持てました。 部屋の露天風呂も予約の露天風呂も良かったです。お風呂上がりの牛乳は濃厚。部屋露天風呂からの星空や夕日素晴らしい。ただメゾネットタイプだったので、寝室が2階トイレは下にしか無く、不便でした'

'施設は古いけれど、客室も広くて、気持ちの良い温泉。 また、行きたい。'

'What an incredible stay for us. First time to a ryokan (i.e., traditional Japanese inn w/ onsen). What an experience! Hotel is somewhat confusing to navigate, but that is part of the adventure. The public onsen was incredible (note: they swap the male and female sides, so pay ATTENTION!). The room we stayed in was "traditional" in that we had five futons atop tatami. Haven't selpt that well in a long time! The in-room onsen was a bit old school (basically a deep tub), but still oh so magical....

'ウエルカムドリンクの ビール🍺が美味しかったです 台風が近づきつつ'

'Beautiful surroundings, service was lovely. Peaceful and serene. Food was beautifully prepared. It would be nice to have a little more direction in how to actually take part in Japanese style bathing for those of us less familiar but there were other patrons around who helped acquaint me with things.'

'One of the most incredible stays of my life. The resort is beautiful with lots of onsens. The staff were very sweet and professional. They were very accommodating to upgrade my room for my honeymoon. The breakfast and dinner is soooo delicious. Highly recommend'
