Cottages in Shimanami Kaido Fietsroute

Ontbijt is heel uitgebreid. Mooi uitzicht op het water.'

'A 10 minute walk from Onomichi station, area is a bit gloomy at night and no eating places nearby. Provides a mix of private rooms with bathroom and hostel rooms with shared facilities, this is not unusual in Japan. There is a bar and some breakfast foods with kettle in the room. No great on sound proofing but quiet generally from 10-630, say, so fine for sleeping on firm bed. Good value.'

Hotel is prima. Niet speciaal.'

'We stayed one night prior to beginning our bike ride. The hotel is across the street from from the Onomichi train station. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was excellent. Would definitely recommend this hotel.'

'Simple hotel that has everything you’d need for a short stay. Unfortunately the bath does not allow tattoos so I could not partake. The staff were very helpful when I requested an extra pillow and allowed me to pick between a harder and softer one. Convenient location to bus stop and the rental bike shops.'

'This place was perfect for our multi-family group coming through for the Shimanami Kaido. The place was immaculately clean and had everything we needed even slippers. It was a beautiful authentic Japanese space with all the modern amenities. There’s not a lot around but Family Mart is about a 5 min bike ride away. We ordered breakfast through this stay with Wakka which was about a less than min bike ride away. I would definitely recommend this place - a great value stay.'

'Was a lot smaller than pictures showed'

'This villa was hands down the best accommodation of our entire Japan trip. If you are traveling the Shimanami Kaido, do yourself a favor and book this absolute perfection of a stay. Here is why it stands out: • Phenomenal island views: The landscape from the property is stunning, and you can take a bath while soaking in the incredible scenery. • Fully stocked kitchen: The amazing kitchen comes completely equipped with everything you could possibly need and more. • Premium convenience: They...

'Next to a Giant Store was nice.'
