'We did not receive an email with check inn details. Staf could not be reached, not by phone and no answer on email. The cottage is outdated and too cold inside. You can feel the wind inside! Good location but ridiculously overpriced and non-exisiting communication. No wifi available. Avoid this place!'

'We absolutely loved our stay at Ásgeirsstaðir Cottages!! We wish we could have stayed more than just a night, but we had to move along to our next destination. The cottage was perfectly equipped with everything one might need. The beds were comfortable, there was a cozy living room and dining area, and our particular cabin was at the end of the road on the edge of a beautiful lupine patch. 'For me I had to book a cabin because the all the hotels were fully booked so an average rating might be unfair because it didn’t really cater for me. The accommodation was clean and warm with outside temperatures as low as -15. I did have to rent sheets but I guess this is normal for a cabin. '
