« Far exceeded my expectations. Amazing room and easy entry. Wish I'd had time to relax on the roof terrace. Great little touches - tooth brushes and paste in case someone had forgotten, bottled water, fan running when I entered. Plenty of comfortable furniture. But the boutique decor was out of this world! I just hope that there will be a vacancy when I am next in the area. »

« Wasnt clear how to check in, but rung in the morning and was advised to call to pub for room card. The room was very clean, and well presented. Can see they are looked after. Nice walk in shower with 2 separate heads. Plenty of storage for clothes etc. Bed was very comfortable and made for a great night sleep. The food served at the Pen Y Cae was amazing and all the staff we encountered throughout our stay were helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much bother for them. »

« First time I've ever stayed in a private room with shared bathroom and it was grand. The weird thing is that there were no towels provided and no tv in the room, kitchen utensils weren't that clean but I brought my own so not an issue. The bed was above average for comfort and very clean. Parking is a nightmare and up a very steep hill, keep this in mind. Probably the most basic stay I've ever had but not bad at all, you get what you pay for. Dealing with Marta was a delight, great...

« Il faut savoir qu'il n'y a pas d'employés sur place. Il s'agit d'un auberge "self-service", nous faisons nous-même notre check-in avec les consignes reçus par mail, mais nous ne recevons aucune autre information. Sinon tous le nécessaire est là et même plus. Très confortable et très propre. Seul bémol, la petite inquiétude de ne jamais voir personne et peut-être le matelas qui pourrait être plus confortable. »

« An amazing little cottage in beautiful surroundings. We loved being able to wander the stunning grounds, and the provided milk, cereal and eggs was a lovely touch. The cottage is perfect, clean and comfortable, and dog friendly too! »
