'Had a lovely nights stay - very comfortable bed, lovely size room with everything we could want. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate, fresh fruits and lots of biscuit in the room which was extremely clean. 'Lovely property and couple. What a welcomed feeling for two jet lagged travelers. Thank you for making us feel welcomed. Room was clean and cozy. Bathroom was stocked with all the creature comforts. 'A nice little overnighter with friends at the Wheatsheaf. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We had our evening meal at the Thai restaurant next door which was amazing. We did see some plates coming out before leaving and the food at the hotel looked good too. Our room (superior)was nicely done, lovely fluffy towels and a great size shower. Breakfast was plentiful and varied. My only reason for downgrading the amenities was because there was no lift. We would go back though'

The house is beautifully restored and the room was superb good views over the countryside,, Jen was a superb host and made us feel welcome in her home.
