'It was at a very quiet and peaceful area. Owner was very helpful and made our stay very comfortable. They had a little garden at the back yard which was a fun surprise. It was clean enough considering it’s not a hotel. I had no complaint about this place and would definitely recommend it to my friends and loved ones. As a side note, If you are not an experience driver, it could be a challenge to get there since it was not close to the main road. '

'Cosy/homely and very clean place but not modern. A countryside feel. The first day we could not see Mt Fuji but we were lucky that we had non-cloudy clear days subsequently. Con: It was tiring dragging luggage for 15min to the hotel and google maps helped. There is no path so you share with cars. There was a small part of the walk where you hoped the van or bus or truck stayed in their lane. Please consider offering subsidized or free transport to and from the bus stop. 'Chalet Burlap Furanui is an excellent option if visiting Furano for a ski trip (after three visits to Furano previously, this has been the favourite accommodation wrt value for money). Our room was very spacious with an ensuite, the onsite onsen is a massive bonus, and the breakfast is great! Short walk to the ski hill, and the service from everyone working there was excellent. Highly recommend.'

'You get what you pay for. The room was surprisingly big. Aged but working bathroom. Mattress is soft, so those with back problems, be aware. The surrounding feels a but unsafe and dodgy. Even though its a buys main street but it feels like you've been watched.'

'What can I say other than amazing. The room was very clean and essentials were plentiful. The location is ideal if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city scene. Main tourist attractions are within a nice walking distance, but public transport is not as accessible. A basic daily breakfast is included with the stay (toast, instant ramyeon, fruit, milk, and juice) and the host asks that you clean up after yourself which I think is a reasonable request. 'The hotel was in the nature. We had a nice big room. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The owner also had a big telescope and lets customers have a look at night. Disadvantage is that there arent any restaurants around and therefor you need a car to find food. The owner gives a map, but ask for extra directions because with the map alone it is difficult to find.'
