'Kamer was mooi en ruim. Er viel echter ook een aantal dingen tegen. Ontbijt was erg karig. Je moest kiezen tussen dingen die normaal allemaal in ontbijt zitten. Hot tube was slecht borrelende “cold tube”. Sleutel moest twee keer worden bijgeladen. Er werd veel gebouwd/verbouwd.'

'We had a fabulous stay at the farms cottage and were welcomed with complementary sourdough bread and yummy spreads. It is very nicely decorated, spacious and comes with a hot tub that is lovely at night time - I never saw so many stars before. We had their on-site dinner the first night: my 3 year old daughter nearly finished the entire piece of lasagne as it was so yummy. The farm is lovely: a Trampolin for the kids, the heated pool that we used daily, the friendliness, chicken and dogs that...

'A lovely affordable stay in the backpackers units, which catered for all we needed. If you need something a bit more luxurious the other units will make you very happy! The farm tucked away far from the everyday rush and you get to experience the peace and beauty of the Freestate. '

'Tijdens onze tocht door de Grote Karoo hebben we een nacht doorgebracht op de boerderij van de Van Der Walt familie. We hadden de Borage Garden Suite geboekt, maar kregen een gratis upgrade naar de Lavender Cottage, een volledig huisje met maar liefst 2 slaapkamers. De suites/huisjes bevinden zich op een werkende boerderij en de familie/personeelsleden geven je graag een rondleiding.
