B&B in Limpopo

'It is a nice and affordable place. There are facilities for making tea and coffee, but that is about it, so I probably wouldn't spend more than one night. Very comfortable with a nice bed, clean and back-up torch for loadshedding. '

'Bed and breakfast in a small nature reserve which means animals are always close by. Well designed rooms (we had the Leopard room) with a deck that looks out on the river bed. Large room, good bed with musquito net and large bathroom area (also outside shower). Hosts are very friendly and love their b&b which can be seen in all details that have been thought through. Note that this is b&b so you have to drive (5 min) to hoedspruit to have dinner.'

'Fijne uitvalsbasis voor een bezoek aan Kruger NP. Bovenste deel van stapelbed heeft alleen geen uitvalbeveiliging. Mooie kamer met badkamer. Tuin met zwembad. '

'Unfortunately my first stay at a hotel on my home province was not great. They gave us a room that was basically in a basement. The worse thing was there was no power the room was duck and hot, it was not load shedding but an issue around the area. We ended up looking for accommodation somewhere else that had backup generators. So basically we had to pay again for another accommodation. Overall the place looks good and clean but being in a basement in the dark was a no no.'

'There was a bath without a screen instead of a shower. A large dead cockroach in the bathroom. Lights outside the bedroom window that were not switched off. Naked, exposed wiring where the switch for the bedside lamp should be ( I could have electrocuted myself reaching for the switch at night!). Very noisy water pipes from 3am. The bed was clean and comfortable but the roach had spoiled it all.'

'De ligging nabij de phalaborwa gate van het Kruger park is ideaal. Ook ligt de accommodatie rustig. Er was echter met de boeking iets niet helemaal goed overgekomen en onze kamer was niet in orde. Ook was de communicatie omtrent het ontbijt niet goed, daar was al voor dat we vertrokken gedoe over.'
