Budgethotels in Noord-Kyoto

'Onze kamer had een tweepersoonsbed maar je kon maar aan een kant in bed gaan liggen. Dus over de ander heen kruipen als je in/uit bed wilt of via de onderkant eruit. Lichtknopje aan 1 kant. Het was schoon maar aan de kleine kant. Ontbijt was oké maar je moet wel vaak vragen of ze iets bij willen vullen ( bv er liggen 2 sneetjes brood en 4 miniplakjes kaas). Om half tien sluit de ontbijtruimte!! Tegenover het hotel is een supermarktje. Je konnom fietsen vragen- prima om door Kyoto te fietsen....

'Mooi hotel, personeel zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Fietshuur was goed geregeld. Bar was mooi. Kamer erg schoon, zeer ruim en mooi design. Locatie super, ingang metrostation direct ernaast en Imperial Palace enkele minuten lopen.'

'Every detail was curated, nothing was left unplanned both in the bedrooms and in the common areas. Location was perfect, quiet and well connected to the metro and main Kyoto train station. The Onsen facility was a nice moment in the evening to relax and experience a traditional ritual. Breakfast was also very good and the staff available to help with any query. Only note the laundry area was frequently busy plan ahead if you need to wash your clothes. Overall, highly recommended!'

'Room wasn’t fully clean when I arrived. You should note there are no windows in the hotel so natural light and seeing what the weather is like isn’t an option. Nice arrival touch with matcha and free coffee but it’s a very basic hotel. The room itself wasn’t at all clean. Stains by the toilet which meant I needed to pop a mat down as it felt unhygienic using it. A very wobbly tap sink. Stains on the furniture and walking out of your room you were treated with dirty laundry and horrible smells....
