'Beautiful hotel in a great and quite location of Kyoto. Upon arrival our forwarded luggage was waiting for us on our well appointed executive room, it was big enough for our family of three.Very comfortable beds, spacious bathroom, and the most gorgeous view to the mountains. Walking distance to Gion and so many temples. Service at the hotel is top notch. And the shuttle bus to/from the station is a great addition. Could not have stayed in a better place than this. We will certainly recommend...

'Everything was wonderful! Quck taxi trip to Nishiki Market. Walking distance to 711, Family Market, & Lawson. You can do laundry at the hotel or there's a laundry mat just down the street. Loved staying here.'

'Op het eerste gezicht een prima en ruime kamer. Echter zijn de bedden echt heel hard! Hierdoor hebben we de 5 nachten dat we hier verbleven niet goed geslapen. Daarnaast was het ook nog heel erg warm in de kamer. De airco hangt alleen recht boven het bed, wat het ook niet comfortabel maakt om daaronder te slapen. Wij hebben geen gebruik gemaakt van het ontbijt. Wel kon je (buiten de ontbijttijden om) gebruik maken van de koffie en frisdrank machine.'

'This is a great hotel and we loved staying here. This hotel is unfortunately in an area that attracts the tourists that create a lot of the current tourism struggles in Japan. They come for the high end brand shops in the area, do not care for Japanese culture and will not try to fit in.'

'Prachtige kamer en mooi modern hotel op 3 minuten lopen van metrohalte. Mooie publieke onsen die erg rustig was en groot. Geen kastruimte en 2 kleine laatjes, onhandig voor 4 nachten. Uitstekende keuken, maar personeel in horeca gedeelte niet erg professioneel, stak schril af bij personeel aan receptie.'

'Absolutely wonderful experience with the hotel and staff! The room was spacious and clean - it was better than some of the higher end hotels in the U.S. where I’ve stayed. The location is quiet but provides easy access to the touristy areas as well as the public transportation. This will be our go-to hotel when we come back to Kyoto.'

'Every detail was curated, nothing was left unplanned both in the bedrooms and in the common areas. Location was perfect, quiet and well connected to the metro and main Kyoto train station. The Onsen facility was a nice moment in the evening to relax and experience a traditional ritual. Breakfast was also very good and the staff available to help with any query. Only note the laundry area was frequently busy plan ahead if you need to wash your clothes. Overall, highly recommended!'
