'It was a short stay. We are local and wanted a nice place to stay while we were having noisy plumbing repairs done at home. Tiffany, the inn keeper, Was very accommodating for my elderly wheelchair-bound mother. Views of the river were beautiful. 'Before travelling to Washington I contacted the host to verify that the sofa in this unit was a pull out; we needed two sleeping areas. The host assured me that it was. 'The property itself is a close drive to downtown DC. It's spacious, clean and had everything we needed. While we did not feel comfortable going for an evening stroll in the neighborhood, we felt very safe in the apartment and with street parking. 'The interior of the apartment is nice and clean, however, the area is very unsafe, with drug dealing and police cars going on all night. People hung out all night right across the street, playing loud music and yelling, making it impossible to sleep through the night. 'Our stay was better than I expected. The home was clean and user friendly. The second bed that was listed was actually a blow-up queen mattress but there was plenty of bedding for it. The property was in a nice area with plenty of easy parking on the street. The location gave easy access to the Metro station and downtown DC. The property manager was easy to communicate with and responded quickly.'

"Het hotel opzich is prima, kamers schoon, bedden prima. 2 liften waarvan er 1 stuk was, dus je lang moest wachten, want de kamermeisje moesten ook met hun karren de lift in. Ontbijt was slecht, 1ste dag om kwart 9 beneden voor ontbijt, geen brood meer, en werd niet aangevuld. Het personeel nam net voor ons een van de laatste broodjes en zei doodleuk dat er niet werd aangevuld. Dus at eigenlijk het brood op van de gasten. Dat kan echt niet! Er waren alleen nog donuts. 2e dag bewust om 8 uur maar gegaan, gevolg weer geen brood en er werd door dezelfde man gezegd dat er niet aangevuld meer zou worden. Dus weer droge donuts. Toen we bijna klaar waren kwam hij doodleuk wel weer met een schaal brood aanzetten, dus hij loog gewoon tegen ons. De tafels waar alles stond waren vies, en meneer zat tv te kijken achter. Dat ontbijt kost gewoon twee sterren op onze beoordeling."
