Flats in Ashford

'The apartment is very clean. The bedrooms are a bit small. The living room is roomy for a two-some. Our only problem with the apartment was the distance needed to walk to the center of town. My wife has a bad knee and the walk back from the city is about a mile and its uphill. Because of this, we needed to drive into Canterbury and pay for parking when we went there. Rachel and her husband couldn't have been nicer or more helpful.'

'Set in beautiful private land, with fantastic views of the countryside and swimming lake, very warm and high quality private bathroom and hut. Great Hot tub looking at the stars, great veranda. Electricity in the hut and shared communal fridge and freezer, as well as your own fridge and microwave. Host let us bring out own fire pit and lent us a toaster, as none in the hut. 'We had booked a boat on the Thames for my 50th birthday for bank holiday weekend.. two days before we were due to leave it was cancelled due to the rivers being on red alert. Having spent months planning it we didn’t know what to do instead. We feel incredibly lucky to have found Le Chateaux was available.
