'The rooms were very clean, staff was very friendly beautiful beach and lovely kitchen. Really enjoyed our stay and will book again.'

'The setting is very peaceful even though the highway is close. The cabins are surrounded by palm trees. It would be nice to at least have coffee available at the hotel. As of now, no food of any kind is available on site. I found a high quality restaurant in about a 5 minute drive. At times, there were issues with running water but staff attended rapidly and were able to turn it back on.'

'Pool was wonderful. Just as an FYI. The newly stained deck is extremely slippery. One of us slipped and fell into the pool. The deck was dry. He sustained a gash on his knee and bruises on his hip. Even more slippery when wet. Eveything else was phenomenal '

'The pool was cloudy when we arrived. There was mild in the fridge and freezer. The jacuzzi was dirty with hair shavings in the drain. The kitchen faucet barely worked and kept falling off. We were promised a BBQ grill which did not arrive until the last week we were there. We bought food based on being able to use a grill. Not happy or satisfied at all. Several times the hot water tank stopped working several times.'

'This was our first time in La Fortuna and we loved the location of this rental home. It was about 15 minutes from downtown and had amazing views with beautiful gardens. The pool with Arenal in the background was breathtaking. However, we didn’t realize that only the bedrooms in this rental would have AC with the main part of the house (kitchen and living room) being more like a screened in porch. 'Great stay. Awesome location. Steve provided timely and accurate information. All his recommendations were spot on. From the boat tour to the restaurants, and a very reliable water taxi. The house has everything I needed, is comfortable, is close to the dock, and is a short walk down the beach to the surf location. I thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations. '
