« The house was unexpectedly nice. We thoroughly enjoyed the cool (unheated) but not cold, jacuzzi pool after a long hot day in Manuel Antonio park. This is a nice place, but they really, really, need to let folks know that this place is very remote and the road is very bad. Great if you want to bring everything and just stay there, but it is a 45 minute drive on bad, unlit roads to come or go from the lodge. We could see several places where the hillside had given way into the road and one...

« This family is the sweetest family on the entire island. "Chat n Chill" has its name for a reason. Be sure to pet the family doggo!! Shes a cutie. Camping over the water was such a unique experience which takes an adjustment period. The only concern is the road getting there..... its a dirt road thats extremely bumpy for a solid 50 minutes. « Excellent place to relax and unwind. Sitting on the beach or taking the kayak out, all the sunshine you would want. The entire facility is clean and the house is modern. The "Placencia Sidewalk" begins at the beach house, so it was an easy stroll in to town for lunch and dinner. The host was excellent to communicate with and answer questions. »
