The front desk workers were especially helpful, most notably Lvany and Pedro who accommodated me and my partners every need which included late night room service! :)

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Hotel Riu Palace Peninsula in Cancun. This was my second time choosing this hotel, and unfortunately, after this experience, I do not plan to return. The worst experience happened at the Steakhouse restaurant. When we arrived, the person responsible for seating told us that we had to wait approximately 20 minutes. Shortly afterward, another family with a child arrived and was told that a table was available, while we were still asked to wait. We were also traveling with a child, so watching another family being accommodated while we continued to wait made us feel that we were being treated unfairly and disrespectfully. Unfortunately, the situation became even worse once we were finally seated. We waited around 40 minutes and no one came to take our order. We even asked for a high chair for our child, and it was not brought to us. The attitude and lack of service were so noticeable that we felt as though the staff had been instructed to ignore us after the issue at the entrance. Whether that was actually the case or not, no guest should ever be made to feel this way at a resort of this size and reputation. When we finally ordered our steaks, we requested them well done. One arrived properly cooked, while the other was still very undercooked. In total, we spent approximately TWO HOURS just trying to have dinner. What should have been an enjoyable family dinner became an unnecessarily frustrating and disrespectful experience.

Me and my boyfriends first time in Mexico , Cancun and it was amazing the resort was veryyyyy clean ! Couldn’t believe it the food was mid some nights was good the only thing was there was never any reservations available for the other restaurants on the resort. There was always something to do the bartenders amazing Jose, Abram I believe , and the 2 young ladies at the front desk the day I checked in amazing the weather was amazing but overall definitely recommended !!!

Great personnel, comfortable beds and of course: the Caribbean Sea! All in all, we had a great experience! The only constructive feedback I can give is to pay more attention to people with food allergies.

The check in seemed nice, we got a wet towel and a drink which was really tasty, the check in itsself lasted way too long, im not exaggerating when im saying it took at least half an hour. The room and the pools were really nice. We did a round trip and of all the places we've been to the staff in this hotel was the least friendly. There are red cabs outside the hotel. They charge like 3 times the normal price. Ordinary cabs aren't allowed to pick up people from/nearby hotel. If you try to catch one on his way out, they will tell you they are off service. We got a number from an ordinary cab driver, but he didn't dare to come to our hotel. This hotel stinks. The staff will tell you they have nothing to do with the red cabs, but surely they do. We also went to the steak restaurant. We asked for the tenderloin steak with no fat. -. - 1/3th of our steak was fat. The prices for the food are quite high and u have to order every side dish apart from your steak. So if you order a steak, you will get just the steak. We ordered the roasted potato, but it was underdone. Then when we got the bill they charged us a steak that was almost twice as expensive. At first they tried to tell us that we made a mistake, which i think is really odd. They charged us for something different than we had ordered, it was really that easy, but they acted as if they didn't understand. Took them about 30 minutes to understand, and after all the fuzz they still had the guts to try and charge us gratuity.

Nous avons été ultras bien accueilli partout où on a été ! Le service est excellent, la nourriture est aussi bonne quasi dans tous les resto 😊. La propreté est au rendez-vous . Je ne peux que recommander cet hôtel . Je reviendrais sans hésitation. Familia Dridi
