'This property is huge for a city apartment. Our family of 5 (two parents, three kids) had plenty of space. The newly updated kitchen is very pretty. It is a short walk to many restaurants and Lincoln Park Zoo. The property manager was very responsive to my questions. We would definitely stay here again.'

'We stayed here with 6 adult friends for a concert and really enjoyed our stay. The rooftop area you have all to yourself and was a big hit within our group. It is a short 15-20 minute walk from lots of fun things to do like kayak the river, an animal rescue that you can go pet dogs and the Original Mr. Beef restaurant that the show "The Bear" is based off of. 'The unit is in a great location and easy to get around. I didn't have a car with me, so I didn't have to worry about parking. It was clean and easy to communicate with the owner. The building itself is an older Chicago building, although the unit has been updated. I really enjoyed my stay!'

'It was a perfect location and plenty of space for family of 8 plus visiting friends. Mike was a great host and we got to enjoy some firewood he had set up for us to have a fire. Highly recommend! The description says 4 bathrooms and there are 3 bathrooms…the only discrepancy.'

'Our team had a one day conference in Chicago. Although it was near the highway it wasn't very loud. Decent neighborhood and the good part is that it was near the highway. Lower level bed is uncomfortable, no other way to say that. I still give it 5-stars as it is as advertised. Communication with owner was timely.'

'Relaxing, quiet and clean neighborhood. Love the retro decor. Kitchen is well equipped for those that might want to cook. A few branches were down in backyard, furniture wasn't set out yet such as outdoor dining table and chairs or gazebo, but overall property was in good condition. 'It was perfect for my needs for the week! Great area, right across the street from a park! Within walking distance/delivery distance to several dining options! Walking distance to Rush (about 20 minutes) & had 2 bike stations within a 10 minute walk in 2 different directions! Downside was it was near a train station so it was loud when you were outside but I could barely hear it when in the apartment. Plus there was construction going on so that added to the noise. Everything in the apartment...

"The location made that I choose for Hotel Felix River North. Second reason was the price. It was good and functional for my stay. If I had to mention a suggestion to improve, it would be addiing one or more facilities: they offer non! no restaurant, no breakfast, no bar, no spa, no office space. OK, they have a tiny little space which looks like a bar, but nobody serves there (I tried a couple of times!), so that is more a piece of art than an actual bar. For the rest, as mentioned: OK. Public transport was nearby, just around the corner an Irish pub and some restaurants at close distance. I would use this hotel again for my next stay in Chicago."
