'The place is located at South Avenue within the ancient city, near to Pingyao South Gate, or 15min walking distance from Small South Gate (alternative, take buggy for 10yuan). The signage for Hongyuyuan hotel was not obvious, it is easier to find using address. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The place is an ancient building, do not expect perfect heating during winter. Food and massage are nearby, is very convenient. The hotel have an restaurant, the food is not bad'

'Perfect stay ! We booked 2 nights and finally stayed 4. The house is made of recycled materials and it's very well made with a lot of cachet. Solar energy for the nights. Your are in the middle of the jungle and ricefields. 15 minutes walk to the village. The surrandings are amazing and the people too. Adi the owner did everything he could to welcome us even if he is in recovery. With the help of Komang who took time for us and Adi's sister who cooked amazing balinese breakfast. Beautiful...

'The resort is surrounded by palm tree very nice scenery of valley, lake mountains, and river. Good price for decent accommodations. Good service from staff. Clean room and soft bed. Spacious room and bathroom, open-air shower & natural swimming pool. Very nice resort for those love natural life style,away from the city life!'

'Leide en hel villa ved elvebredden og storkoste oss under oppholdet. Dette er helt klart en plass vi begge ønsker oss tilbake til, kanskje for ett lengre opphold på 2-3 dager. Villa var I god stand og meget koselig innredet i lokal stil. Stor fin TV og kokemuligheter. Likte spesielt gyngestolen ved vinduet mot elven. Flere gode uteplasser langs elvebredden også. '

'Drove from Vungtao and they overbooked the room with the view we came for and it was too late to find a better place. They offered us inferior rooms with very partial refund. The entire night I was killing mosquitoes befcause the rooms were unsealed. No value for the cost...just stay somewwhere else.'
