'We made one request prior to check-in, as we had never stayed at a Pub before. As it was the World Cup, with team England in it, I had some concern that it might be noisy all night. Nothing could have been further from the truth. They were in the pub until all hours, but our room might have been in an isolated convent it was so quiet. One passed through a series of nearly air-tight doors along a corridor, and it became quiter and quiter. So it was the best of both worlds: have a great time...

'Very nice hotel above the pub in a small street just off Bishopsgate. Great location if you have to be in the city and want to be close to public transportation. The suites are spacious, with king size bed. Decorated with flair. You will however need to walk up steep staircase to get there.'

'Nice seeminly recently updated restaurant. Beds a not super comfy and missing a light at the headboard of the bed for reading. 10 minute walk to Underground, lot of take out / oriental easy dining places nearby. Good for solo travelling but i do not think i Will be visiting this again.'
