'We recently stayed at this property for just 2 nights as a base while exploring London, and we barely used the place, making it impossible for us to cause the kind of stains they later claimed. We received an email stating that a portion of our deposit would be kept due to “extra cleaning” for marks on the wall - which were already there when we arrived and are completely normal for a well-lived space and for a torn throw that was already in poor condition upon check-in. The views and location of this place is absolutely amazing....sunrise everyday and unobstructed sea views. Loads of space, comfortable beds. Warm and cozy. A wonderful welcome pack of food and drinks. Kitchen could benefit from more utensils, pots and pans but thats a mimor point. Would definately recommend and stay again. '

'Three generations met for a suprise 70h birthday. Chevalier Estate is ideal for this as each family group had their own space but we could get together in the magnificent Dragon Hall. The accomodations are exceptionally well thought out and equipped. "Less IKEA more Sophie Conran" as one daughter observed.
