'Beach full of sargassum. Life guards wouldn't allow us to swim or even wade in the water most days due to concerns with waves. Had to walk down the beach to swim in front of another resort or travel to sister Royal Cancun to use their beach. Treated like second class citizens if you don't join the Holiday Inn Vacation club. Couldn't make reservation in restaurants until day of at 8 am and was then told they are full. Argued with front desk and they found 1 day exception for me. Rooms are clean...

The room has no reachable electric outlets, bathroom has bathtub but sealed and not usable, no water coming out of the faucet waste of space! Dining buffet is not good as far as utensils, glasses, soup spoons, running out and not replaced. short staff, food not replaced right away, people tend to wait. ice cream is "melt scream" not ice cream, cones are stale and...
