I would not recommend this resort!
We stayed for the week of New Years 2026.
The Youtube reviews were wrong and maybe paid off.
To start out positive; The property itself is beautiful and spread out with about a mile of walkable paths along the beach. Our room was great and clean, one of the best showers I have even had the pleasure of using in my life, house keeping did a great job.
Now for the negative: Service was cold and robotic, solely reactive, it felt like we had to beg to get anything.
Calling anyone on property was a hassle, most of the time no one would pick up the phone. Also, room service, we would try and call to get food and no one would pick up so we would use their "app" to schedule food to be delivered. the food was consistently 30-60mins late and always cold.
The restaurants were laughably bad, the japanese, steakhouse, italian, and buffet restaurant were all terrible. The pizza cabana by the pool was the only good meal we had at the property. The quality of food was worse than any chain restaurant. I actually laughed when I was served a sad grey steak at the steakhouse. The buffet is a lot smaller than the pictures make it seem and the food offering could be described as disjointed. Though if you enjoy soupy instant eggs and undercooked pork sausage for breakfast you will love it.
I am running out of room to write more but will say our excursions with Lomas to Chichen Itza and Maroma Beach were great! Staff was excellent and food was great!
