A mixed review. Some of the staff are exceptional and go above and beyond - they work extremely hard in a busy/challenging environment. Beautiful setting also. However, we were overrun by those attending an event at the conference centre and our experience was negatively impacted as a result - bar areas closed off. Reduced staff. No wait list system operated for diving/activities so my husband very nearly missed out because of a last minute late booking despite the fact that he had been in contact with the hotel 3 months prior and as soon as he arrived - had he not argued about it he wouldn’t have got to go diving. The food at the beach restaurant was terrible. Others in our group paid extra for a lagoon view and didn’t get one (due to the big booking). Prior guests leftover dinner (mouldy) left in room fridge. Mini bar not provided until asked (even though we were all inclusive). Surprise extra charges at the spa. No details of what is/isnt included in all inclusive provided as check-in.
Overall it has the potential to be incredible but they need more staff, particularly when hosting conferences so as to not make paying holiday guests feel like second rate citizens. It’s was not a cheap holiday - I expected more.
