'Really nice clean ryokan in a quiet part of the neighbourhood. Has everything you need. Walking distance to restaurants and the train station. It was great to experience this style of accommodation. Felt like we were really immersed in the local area and very different to the hotel experience. '

'1階の「鴨」という部屋に泊まりました。大通りの車の音は全く聞こえず、落ち着いて滞在できました。部屋の設備はシンプルながら高級感があり、中でも檜風呂は贅沢な気分になれました。 子連れで外食するには不便な立地だと感じました。部屋にミニキッチンがあり、食器やお茶類も揃っているので、おばんざいを買ってきて部屋で食べるのも良いと思います。'

'Aanvankelijk zeker niet okay, maar na een klacht bij het management werd alles prima geregeld zoals we het wilden hebben. De basis inrichting e.d laat te wensen over, ook de schoonmaak was bij aankomst niet in orde maar we kregen een dag later een verl betere kamer en elke dag werd er schoon gemaakt. '

'Japanese style room was okay! It is located on a quiet residential area about 15 min walk from Kyoto central station. The reception was at a different place (next street) - you need to goto this place for checkin formalities. This was mentioned in the instructions email, nevertheless it was not convenient. Bathroom taps were old and not that handy. To get the desired temperature of hot+cold water, some amount of maneuvering is needed!'

'This was a great stay, the hosts were amazing, gave me a route to see some temples that were close enough to walk to. They lent me a jacket and gloves for my walk. The room was nice, quiet, the bed was comfy and stocked with tea. The breakfast they prepare for you is also fantastic, can't recommend enough! Feel at ease booking here. I will be staying again!'
