'Loved the cottage and the welcome was truly wonderful! We did have problems with Maisie as there is no safe place to let her out as the cottage opens onto the road, also all the area around Rutland water is dogs on leads only so sadly no proper exercise there. We did find a truly wonderful walk around Empingham along the river through plantations of newly planted trees and the most incredible display of wildflowers, excellent!'

'Very good accommodation for us as a group of friends on our annual get together. Room to sit and chat in the the kitchen and living room, and lovely outdoor area. Beds very comfy. Long mirrors in every bedroom room would be good.'

'This medieval house was really cute. Does come with the quirks of an older house (creaky stairs, small rooms) but that adds to the charm. Host was very helpful throughout our stay and on arrival had items in fridge (milk/butter/jam) and some pastries along w/ a bottle of wine. location is perfect for wandering around Stamford and a quick 5min walk from Train station so very doable w/ luggage'

'The Old Postoffice is echt fantastisch! Het is een prachtig, met zorg opgeknapt en gezellig "echt Engels" ingericht huisje dat van alle gemakken voorzien is (alleen geen vaatwasser). De eigenaars wonen er naast en zorgen dat het je aan niets ontbreekt tijdens je verblijf, je voelt je echt welkom. Vooral ook zeer schoon! Een echte aanrader.'
