'Loved the cottage and the welcome was truly wonderful! We did have problems with Maisie as there is no safe place to let her out as the cottage opens onto the road, also all the area around Rutland water is dogs on leads only so sadly no proper exercise there. We did find a truly wonderful walk around Empingham along the river through plantations of newly planted trees and the most incredible display of wildflowers, excellent!'

'Very good accommodation for us as a group of friends on our annual get together. Room to sit and chat in the the kitchen and living room, and lovely outdoor area. Beds very comfy. Long mirrors in every bedroom room would be good.'

The renovation of the barn has been done very sympathetically keeping many of the original features on the old building. Great hosts, on hand for anything you need. Would recommend. '
