'Loved the cottage and the welcome was truly wonderful! We did have problems with Maisie as there is no safe place to let her out as the cottage opens onto the road, also all the area around Rutland water is dogs on leads only so sadly no proper exercise there. We did find a truly wonderful walk around Empingham along the river through plantations of newly planted trees and the most incredible display of wildflowers, excellent!'
