'This was our fourth stay at The Balmoral. We've stayed in some of the other larger hotels in Skeggy and haven't been to impressed. We found this one four years ago and haven't bothered looking for anywhere else since. Lovely little hotel and we'll be back again next year. '

'Room was very small but clean, bed near window felt very damp, as condensation was running down windows! very cold in evening central heating just put on for about 3/4 of an hour in late evening!! Had to get into bed to keep warm!! Breakfast was the best thing about our stay, it was freshly cooked by hostess and hot! '

'Apartment is in a great location close to beach & attractions. Staff were welcoming & friendly and let us check in 2 hours early which was appreciated as it was raining. Apartment is well presented but very grubby and dated. Found the room & pillows to smell of grease/cooked food, carpet was filthy & beds were so uncomfortable we cut the trip short by a night. Overall not the worst place I have stayed, but definitely not worth the money & won’t be returning.'

'Honestly quite horrible! Got there and there was no booking for us! Hotels.com told us the hotel sold our room as they got more money from a walk in customer! After 3 hours on the phone hotels.com was not helping us so we ended up having to pay the hotel again we was put in a dirty room with bumpbeds then the next day we had to move rooms. I would not recommend using hotels.com for anything and especially when it comes to this hotel!'
