'Lovely stay in a lovely lodge. Everything as described, clean and tidy and really helpful information given by Helen about stay and local area if you have never visited before. Within walking distance of a local pub and onsite facilities also but kitchen very well equipped. Comfy, home away from home after long walks in beautiful surroundings. Lodge is very pet friendly but as visitors without animals, you could tell it had been cleaned well and was perfect for us.'

'I was away for work and my fiancees nan had passed away the day before my travel so she joined me for a few days on this trip. The first evening was lovely and sunny and we went and watched the sunset and had tea out, when returning to the cabin we found the other cabins were now hosting guests. We had a nice evening and went to sleep, we were then woken at 5am by the most horrific argument we had ever heard that went on for a full 90 minutes between the crack heads that had booked the other two...

'Very clean and warm. Host was friendly and helpful. The shared spaces had everything needed including a log burner which was very welcome. Set in a stunning location will hopefully make it back in the summer.'

'The copper castle was an amazing place to stay, clean, comfortable, staff were amazing, children loved the animals and collecting egg's from the chickens in the morning. Owner's were very helpful and accommodating, will definitely be coming back for another stay.'

'Just spent 4 nights in a 2 bed lodge on site at Tor Farm and it was lovely! All facilities we used were lovely, pool very clean and grounds well kept.Only negatives were that decor seemed slightly tired with some broken parts around the lodge that could use some attention which we will make the owners aware of, also it was not as clean as we would have expected (cobwebs around and some toothpaste in the bathroom left from previous residents!) Small things we didn't feel like we needed to bother...

'Huisje ligt op een mooie plek op een vakantiepark met verder voornamelijk stacaravans. Er zijn voorzieningen op het park (zwembad bijv tegen betaling). Vanaf het park is er ook een directe toegang tot het meer (Windermere). Het huisje is voor een gezin met 3 kinderen (1, 5, 7 jr) of meer dan 2 volwassenen echter wel vrij krap. Wij vonden het huisje niet zo schoon: het keukengerei was soms nog vies/vet, we vonden onder tafel vies ondergoed en sokken (?!). Ook waren er te weinig schone handdoeken....

'Great accommodation. Only issue is the wifi doesn’t reach the van and signal is a bit of a black spot but other than that. Brilliant.'
