'The hosts were excellent every time I spoke to Julie she contacted me straight away. The lodge was just beautiful and surroundings. The lodge had every comfort one needs when you go away. It was warm, comfy , and spotless. And we had a lovely bottle of wine and brewing up facilities plus biscuits who left for us what more could you ask for and talk. Would definitely recommend to others and hope to come again . '

'The lodge was lovely and in a good location on the Parkdean site, which is conveniently located between windermere and ambleside. Good communication with Helen, who gave good recommendations of things to do and where to go. The lodge is really spacious and had everything we needed for our stay. We don't have a dog bit noted the lovely basket and treats for guests with dogs which was a nice touch. The photos don't do the lodge justice. '

Communication was great from initial contact through to the welcome on arrival. Parking is up the road but only a couple of minutes walk. Highly recommended. '
