'This property dates back to Thomas Jefferson era. The staff is awesome and the rooms are well preserved. We stayed in the Summer Kitchen and absolutely Loved it!! I can't wait to come back. The chef was spot on and the food was Amazing!!'

'Loved the setting in a small town within 30 minutes of Old Rag Mountain (popular hiking spot). The hosts were so helpful with info on dining options in the area and in towns within 10 minutes drive. In this very town, there are restaurants within a few short blocks, including a delicious bakery/coffee shop. Accommodations were perfect. 'Very pet friendly, which is important to us, given that we have two dogs. Alan Webb, the host, has a cockatoo, which the dogs loved and which we loved also. Good proximity to the Skyline Drive, Charlottesville, and the White Oak Canyon trail in the Shenandoah National Park. Good breakfasts and good amenities in the room, with Keurig coffee maker, flat screen tv with streaming, and good wi-fi.'

'Marty was a wonderful host. The Inn could use a few repairs but our stay was very comfortable. Breakfast was great. Good location in downtown Orange, VA. '
