'Booked 2 nights for mom and son reunion but I couldn't make the trip, my college kid stayed for one night and really enjoyed the beautiful setting, acoustic guitar, books, snacks. 'This is such a cool and unique experience! Lots of history and the grounds are gorgeous! Air conditioning was powerful on those hot summer nights! However, the floor above us is private living quarters and the person was making noise until 2:00am. Bring headphones and a noise machine!'

'Unique experience for someone who normally stays in national chain hotels. The room I stayed in was designed and named after a Vietnam veteran who has passed. This was a happy coincidence since I work with veterans at a VA hospital. Located in the small village of Groton, it was quiet and serene. Nice get away for city dwellers.'
