'We enjoyed a six night family and friends vacation. We especially enjoyed Francesco’s gracious hospitality and sparkling personality. Francesco showed us around Lake Como on his boat, and was very helpful in making other reservations and arrangements. The property was spectacular with an expensive lake front. 'In mei hebben we een heerlijke week met het gezin van totaal 13 personen gehad in Villa Ortentia. We hadden een uitstekende ontvangst met Marella, Dennis en zijn vrouw. We zijn uitgebreid rondgeleid. Het huis was zeer schoon. Zes uitstekende kamers. Prachtig uitzicht over het meer. Veel ruimte rond het huis en van alle gemakken voorzien waardoor we veel sportief vermaak hadden. Het zwembad was nog koud maar kon worden verwarmd. We hebben er veel gebruik van gemaakt. 'We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Matisa!! The house was a perfect place for me and my friends while we were visiting Lake Como. The house was spacious, kitchen stocked with everything we needed, decorated beautifully, had amazing views of the lake and the outside patio and gardens were perfect for enjoying coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening. Although the description told us that there is room for four persons, actually there is room for only two persons. There is only one bed for two, and there is one couch for one person. The fourth person has to sleep is on a airbed (which you have to bring on your own!). Moreover, there was no WIFI / Wlan as described. Therefor the house did not meet our expectations. 'Een fijn appartement waarbij we genoten hebben van het uitzicht en het buiten zijn. De woonverdieping was prima, de keuken voldoende uitgerust. Jammer voor ons was dat de woning zowel een tegeltrap naar boven als naar de kelder had. Deze hebben we (vanwege 2 kleine kindjes) moeten barricaderen uit angst dat er iemand zou vallen. De bovenverdieping is iets klein voor 2 gezinnen, maar in de kelder was ook nog een badkamer, maar is uiteindelijk iets minder praktisch.'

'Charming house with lovely view. Positives were the open plan central floor where we could all meet, and the view from the top floor bedroom. Negatives were the regular power cuts, the smaller bedrooms are hot without AC, and the walk to Menaggio is 30 minutes and of questionable safety in sections. Overall we had a delightful stay, a great time was had by all and George was really helpful !'
