Lodges in Gretna

'Stayed for one night, on our way back down from Scotland. Had a lovely time here, and wished we could have stayed longer. Arrived around 6pm, very easy parking and checking in to our room. Then had a lovely meal downstairs in the Penny Blue restaurant attached to the hotel. Food was served very quickly, and the staff were attentive. 'This cottage is located in a beautiful area with lots of hiking/ walking possibilities. kids could play nearby the river Esk or surrouding streams and forrest. The cottage also have a very nice garden with a possibility to BBQ or sit. There is nothing what we misses in this cottage, nice beds, very quiet area, really good equipped kitchen, lots of towels. We had booked the "Garden" cottage but due to unexpected maintenance the host upgraded us to the "Stable"cottage (which now reviewed). In the...
