'We came to McKinney for a family wedding and decided to rent here instead of the hotel. What a great place! So beautiful and had all the extra items needed for a weekend stay. Communication with hosts was timely and they even checked in on us via text to ask if we needed anything. Very clean. Everything was perfect!'

The casita has everything you need for an extended stay and the outdoor space is so nice and a real bonus. Also, great location. Walking distance to historic Main street and the botanical gardens. 'Not very large on the outside, this place is all you could want in a vacation home for two, plus fur babies. The outside space is narrow, but well appointed and private. No vistas to admire, but we were there for the April 2024 eclipse, so we saw all we wanted! Inside is comfy and attractive, with lots of considerate touches. A real kitchen. It's worth it!'

'The Hummingbird was perfect!! We loved the house, all its amenities, and the property around it. We enjoyed making s’mores in our yard and saying hi to the cows. So much better than a hotel! We will definitely stay there again!! '

'The house itself was more than adequate for our purposes. The location was awesome. There was one big surprise. That was the attached back apartment. The three small children were precious and the mom was very nice. It’s just that this was not mentioned. We will certainly consider staying there again.'

'The location of this house is great. It is close enough to the interstate to access major roads quickly but also far enough from the interstate that it sits on a quiet street. The house is quaint and simple with comfortable beds. It was a great homebase for exploring Dallas.'

'There was no soap or shampoo in the shower to use. There was no hand soap at the bathroom sink or anywhere in the house. Was a beautiful place and would come back but i would bring my own shampoo and hand soap.'

'Jerry and the house were both wonderful. We fished, kayaked, had campfires, and loved the view. Jerry was so helpful with fishing and restaurant suggestions. We will be back! Every time we are in the Dallas area, this is where we will stay!'
