From the very caring and attentive bellman, extremely welcoming every time, We have brought our families and our staff several times over the years!! 'We weren't told about the construction, the elevator to our room wasn't working and we were on the 4th floor. The phone didn't work, the oom that we reserved had leaking a roof in the bathroom, we were locked inside the lobby elevator due to electricity issues. After waiting in the lobby for 4hrs and finally getting into our room, there was no running water. The food was not good and was served cold. We paid $100 for snorkeling photos and have not received them as of yet. This is our 3rd...

'Before we arrived at the hotel, we received a form to fill out with all our details. A few days before our arrival, we were required to check in online to avoid waiting at the hotel. However, on the day of our arrival, we still had to wait about half an hour to check in again.
In the meantime, I was browsing a shop in the hotel and accidentally dropped a magnet, which I had to pay for—it cost around 260 pesos.
There was no elevator. While the view from our ocean-view room was nice, the room...

'The property was well maintained . What I didn’t prefer was the underlined rules , you have to make reservations for dinner in specialty dinning , if you go one day then you have to wait until the next day to schedule for the following and you have to wait until the deadline for that reservation. It is a place where a lot of diver go because they have a pro international dive shop PADI location on the property. They schedule 1 at 8am and the other at 12:50, which is really nice and if you were...

'The rooms were super clean. There was a variety of food which was great but it was only at the fiesta americana which was the sister hotel. The explorean only had one place to eat and the food honestly was not great.
We sat through a what we though was a meeting to tell us more about the hotel amenities and it turned out to be a sales pitch to become fiesta members. 2 1/2 hrs later we finally were able to walk off. They got very insistent even after we said no. Honestly they were very upset...
