'We loved this place. It was superclean and a great kitchen with everything you could need for a good meal. Big fridges and cupboards to keep your goods safe and cold. Lots of games, big washing machines, good vibes, great staff. '

'A well organised and attractive property offering interesting tours of the geology of the area. The tent accommodation option proved comfortable and practical. Facilities for food preparation and eating are good but the addition of basic eating utensils would have enhanced the experience further '

'We booked an economy room, which was reflected in a very basic room at 1st floor. However the room was spacious and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpfull. General kitchen area could use an upgrade and thorough cleaning (cooking plate was hardly functioning, lot of flies, bad smell). Nice creeks at short driving distance.'

'Ontvangst was heel prettig. Personeel ook zeer behulpzaam. Het ontwaken aan de Pacific Ocean in de ochtendzon maakte het ook helemaal compleet. Het Motel staat op een goed onderhouden vakantiepark. '

'We hadden een kleine maar comfortabele kamer met terras en uitzicht op zee. De eigenaren zijn super vriendelijk. Zo boekten zij voor ons een tafel in een nabij gelegen restaurant. Toen we de volgende dag 's avonds, we waren inmiddels op onze volgende bestemming, merkten dat we onze koeltas hadden laten staan hebben ze alle levensmiddelen in hun koelkast gedaan zodat we alles op onze terugweg konden ophalen. Super service. Cardwell vonden wij verrassend mooi. Naast het strand ( mooie boardwalk...

'Compact room, but with everything you get in a larger hotel room, and well set out. Good security lighting outside, and quiet location, behind the pub. Very clean and newly renovated. My only mention would be that it was hard to find where to check in… had to go to the public bar. Maybe a bit more signage would help. Overall, would stay here again as it is a bit more modern and cleaner than some of the other options I’ve stayed at in Cardwell. Perfect for breaking up a long drive north. '
