'Hanare Kyoto worked perfectly for my family of 4. The location was ideal - 5 min walk to the Kyoto train station, but set back on a quiet street and very private. The apartment is very spacious and comfortable. We took advantage of the nice kitchen and ate breakfast at home every day. The in-unit washer/dryer was wonderful to have. Had to pay an extra tax that was not disclosed during booking, It cost us an extra $4000 yen for our stay. 'Apartment/Condo is in a quiet alley, tucked away from all the action, while remaining only a short walk from restaurants (sushi, ramen, steak, izakaya…). A nearby street is loaded to the brim with restaurants, cafes, convenience stores, bus stops and even a train station (although look up business hours ahead of time, as some places have unusual hours).
